Therapy Groups

I offer a variety of groups, tailored to the needs of different settings, populations, and
individual group members.
If you are interested in hosting a group at your treatment facility, school, or institution, I would love to discuss the possibilities with you.

To find out if any of these groups are currently running, please email me.

Drama Therapy Groups

Drama Therapy is an experiential and
powerful modality that enables clients to
express feelings, try new skills, and do deep internal and interpersonal work. Drama Therapy groups can be beneficial in many different situations, such as:
- Trauma Recovery
- Empowerment Groups
- Substance Abuse
- Eating Disorders
- Social Skills Development
- Anger Management/Conflict Resolution
- Corporate Communication
- And many more!

Shakespeare on the Spectrum

Working with Shakespeare's themes and the rhythm of his text, the Hunter Heartbeat Method is employed in this group work with children on the autism spectrum. The founder of the treatment style describes that the method "uses Shakespeare to release the communicative blocks within children with autism" (Kelly Hunter).
More information and research on this
method can be found here:

Groups are available for younger and
adolescent participants.

ACT  Art Therapy Group for Adolescents

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is an evidence-based practice that focuses on acceptance, mindfulness, psychological flexibility, and an emphasis on individual values to work to alleviate suffering and live a meaningful life. Art therapy enables us to explore these concepts, individual feelings, and experiences in a non-threatening and creative way, without getting caught up in language.
